Perfect Home Apartments ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our guests and website visitors. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data.

We collect information you provide directly when you:
- Make a booking (name, email, phone, payment details, dates, guest count)
- Contact us through our website, WhatsApp, or email
- Subscribe to our newsletter
- Leave a review or feedback
We also collect basic technical information automatically, IP address, browser type, pages visited, for security and analytics purposes.
2. How we use your information
We use your data only for the following purposes:
- To process and confirm your booking
- To communicate with you about your stay
- To send occasional updates if you've opted in to our newsletter
- To improve our services based on aggregated, anonymised analytics
- To comply with legal and tax obligations
3. Payment information
We do not store your full credit or debit card details. All card payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant payment processors (Stripe, Pesapal). Mobile money and bank transfer details are processed through their respective providers and are not retained beyond the booking confirmation.
4. Sharing your information
We do not sell your data. We share information only with:
- Payment processors, to complete transactions
- Booking platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com), only when you book through them
- Cleaning and maintenance staff, limited to arrival and departure dates and any access notes
- Tax authorities and regulators, where legally required
5. Data retention
Booking records are retained for 7 years to comply with Tanzanian tax law. Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. Contact form messages are retained for up to 2 years.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data, subject to legal retention requirements
- Unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time
